What is Hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy has been used over the centuries and is a form of deep relaxation that allows the mind to concentrate on one thing.

 

Hypnotherapy is now recognised as a highly effective tool for modifying behaviour and for healing.

What's it Like?

Don’t worry you will not lose control. You will be aware of what is going on for the whole time and you will experience a wonderful feeling of relaxation and wellbeing.

 

If you have ever meditated or taken part in a relaxation at the end of a yoga session you will find that being hypnotised is very similar.

 

It is nothing to be afraid of, you will be aware of what is going on and you do not lose control. You can choose to go into hypnosis and you can come out of it at any time if you want to, although it is better to be guided by the therapist.

 

The therapist is there to guide you into deep relaxation or trance to enable your subconscious mind to work to find your own solutions to your own problems. This experience will be different for everyone.

Angela Coote Dip Hyp MHA

 

Angela CooteAngela is an experienced trainer in personal development and a full member of the Hypnotherapy Association.

 

She is also an  NLP Practitioner and Reiki healer. Her specialist areas are in helping to alleviate stress and anxiety, confidence building, weight control, dealing with phobias and aiding sleep.

 

An advocate for life long learning, Angela is a well-qualified, experienced trainer in personal development. She has over 14 years experience of working with individuals and groups to inspire motivation and confidence. She has training and counselling qualifications.

 

She believes that everyone has the ability to take control of their lives and hypnotherapy can be a way of helping to achieve this.

 

She worked in Hampshire for Shaw Trust, a large national charity that helps people with disabilities achieve their potential, where she held responsibility for training in the South West. Since moving to Cornwall she has worked on projects for the NHS and as a Consultant for the Learning and Skills Council and Skills for Care SW.

 

 

Treatment Tariff

Consultation 30 minutes: FREE

 

The treatment is normally 3 sessions.

 

Session 1 is a consultation, case notes and a relaxation hypnosis

 

Session 2 is the treatment including affirmations and goalsetting

 

Session 3 is reinforcement

 

You may sometimes need top up sessions. You will also be given coping strategies which includes relaxation techniques.

 

Cost

Free initial consultation.


Each session will be for 1 hour and cost £50 per session.
